Democrats – Your Racism Is Showing

First there was the Chris Matthews thing that Daisy posted earlier. That whole, “I forgot Obama was black for an hour” during the SOTU last night. I’m still trying to figure out what that even means. Seriously – I would love for someone to just ask Chris Matthews what he meant by that.

And then today, apparently the left blogosphere was just abuzz with chatter about the folks in the audience during Governor McDonnell’s response to the SOTU. All you need to do is google “McDonnell response to SOTU + diversity” and you’ll find liberal blog after liberal blog snidely remarking that there was a black woman and Asian man behind McDonnell, suggesting that they were somehow planted there to show diversity in the GOP. And yet, THEY continue to suggest that the GOP is racist?? That’s the most racist suggestion ever – that a black woman and Asian man wouldn’t be there on their own merits, and only used as tokens.

I won’t hold my breath for those same liberal bloggers to apologize, even though the people behind McDonnell were members of his cabinet.

GAWD.

Jimmy Carter Miiiiiight Want To Check Himself.

Huh. “The black boy” doesn’t have the experience to be president, Jimmy says.

I guess Jimmy really knew what he was talking about when he made the claim that disagreement with Obama is based on racism. He probably just forgot that it was his OWN racism he was referring to.

GOD I love video archives.

Lloyd Marcus Is Awesome

Read this article, written by the singer featured in the above video, Lloyd Marcus, who recounts his experience aboard the Tea Party Express tour bus and meeting with thousands and thousands of HORRIBLE WHITE CONSERVATIVE RACISTS.

Kidding!!!!

He actually had a blast traveling the country and meeting with all the tea party goers. The part that was less fun? Getting a bunch of emails from liberals who said stuff like, “”You are the dumbest self hating f****** n***** I have ever seen!” because they don’t like that he speaks out against this administration.

This race stuff is getting so out of hand. It reminds me of how much flak Michael Steele got for his innocent comment about fried chicken a few months ago.

And again – who were the folks shouting and complaining about race then just as they are now? Liberals.

Surprise!

More Race Talk Deflection, And Yet, I’m Still Waiting For That Data…

So, here are all the “pundits” talking about their take on Jimmy pulling the race card:

You know what my favorite part is? The chick who says something about a “very strong right-wing that has made it their mission to try to bring the President down.” Wait. Hasn’t everyone on the left been talking about how conservatism is dead? If it’s pretty much in the grave, then how is it all of a sudden very strong? Geez. My head’s spinning from all the flip-flopping.

Aaaaaand, just so you all know, I’m still waiting for someone to tell me how in the hell Obamacare is going to be paid for without adding to the deficit or raising taxes. Specifically. Silly me for wanting to know such trivial things.

Keep on deflecting, people. Really. This is helping.

Jimmy Carter Thinks I’m Racist, Perpetuating The Notion That Democrats Don’t Have A Freakin’ Leg To Stand On In Defending Their Policies

Here’s Mr. Carter talking about how anyone who doesn’t support Obama’s policies is just flat-out racist.

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

Well, if Jimmy Carter calls anyone who opposes Obama a racist, then it MUST be true, right?

GAWD.

I should be shocked by this? At this point, the racist argument is becoming downright laughable to me. There is no shock value in it whatsoever. It’s been played by the Democratic party so much that it’s getting pathetic now. I mean, when a Liberal/Democrat has no argumentative ammunition – something POSITIVE to say about Obama, his administration, his policies, his accomplishments thus far, or those of the many criminals, wackjobs, corrupt organizations and hypocrites he associates with – it’s much easier to just throw the race card. Hell, I could be pink with purple polka dots, married to a black man, with a Chinese baby, and if I didn’t like Obama’s policies – I’d still be a southern redneck racist.

Well, thanks for enlightening me, oh Democrat intellectuals!

This is CLASSIC and blatant deflection at its finest. I mean, why bother with a valid debate that has actual merit and substance, really? Race trumps everything according to the left – including both logic and reason. It trumps real debate about real issues at hand. What I’d like Mr. Carter to tell me is exactly HOW the healthcare legislation will be paid for. Not the rhetoric B.S., but specific data. I’ve yet to receive that from the administration, so it’d be a wee bit helpful at this point. I’d also like for him to tell me how wonderful and law-abiding ACORN is, and how the seven Senators who chose to keep giving funds to them are not sexist and complete criminals themselves by association (for condoning the prostitution and abuse of underage girls to make money for the advancement of the Democratic party). I’d like for him to tell me why he believes Van Jones should have kept his job. I’d like for him to tell me that Obama is doing the right things when it comes to national security. I’d like for him to tell me when and where Obama has kept his hopey-changey campaign promises. I’d like for him to tell me all of these things and much, much more. In fact, I’ve asked for this ad nauseum – from liberals who write into us and scream emotional responses to posts – without any clear data to support why Obama is doing such a bang-up job. But, lo and behold, I’ve never received responses from those screaming people. Instead, I’ll get just more of the stock, emotional, fingerpointing responses that have nothing to do with any of the issues at hand.

Empty rhetoric doesn’t pay my power bills, Mr. Carter. Nor does it keep my husband and I in our jobs. Nor does it keep my family safe from terrorists. Nor does it mean jack CRAP when all is said and done. Much like the color of someone’s skin. Huh.

When “racist!” is spewed, the conversation is over. And, right now, this is what Democrats want. Because their arguments – or the lack thereof – are LAME. They want everyone to stop pointing out the flaws of the administration – the gaping HOLES in the legislation. The absolute vagueness. So, what are they doing? They’re deflecting, then feeding off the emotional responses of people in this country by screaming, “You’re a racist if you don’t like what we’re doing right now!”

All because I don’t like the policies of a man (who is just as much white as he is black, by the way). By Democratic deflection, I’m a racist. Interesting how that works.

I believe this is going to become embarrassing for the Democrats who have nothing of substance to say. For me, that point is already here. Way to keep elevating the discourse. I would’ve expected much more from a former leader of the free world, but I guess my expectations were a bit too high. Go figure.

This Just In: Bill Maher Remains Pathetically Delusional And Not Funny

Bill Maher – the crusader for black people everywhere, apparently – is now taking headlines and painting them as ’subliminal racism.’ Can someone please punch this guy in the face? Yesterday?

You know, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the reason racism even continues to exist is because of people like Maher. When I read the headline, I saw “negative.” When HE read it, however, he read something racial. Huh. So maybe MAHER is the blatant racist here….just a thought.

GAWD.

Hey – I’m Not Sure If You Guys Heard This Yet Or Not – But We’re RACIST If We Didn’t Like Van Jones!

2009-09-09_211232

I know. It came as a shock to me too. Me? Racist? Whaaa?

But right here is the proof, you guys. Mary Mitchell said so, so it must be true.

I’ve read her op-ed several times now, and each time, I just shake my head in disbelief even more that it isn’t some sort of huge joke. Like – maybe tomorrow, she’s going to come out with an article that says, “KIDDING!!!”

Here are her points, in a nutshell:

1. Glenn Beck forced Van Jones out of his position by “outing him as a radical.”
2. Really, the only thing Van Jones did wrong was call Republicans as*holes.
3. He signed that “meaningless” petition about 9/11 being an inside job because LOTS of black people “distrusted Bush to the point that they thought anything was possible.”

And she’s SERIOUS, you guys. She genuinely doesn’t get why Van Jones miiiight be kind of a wackjob.

And she’s obviously really mad at Glenn Beck. She said that has is going to “investigate all of Obama’s advisers.” HORRORS. It’s time SOMEONE did, for crying out loud, since apparently no one in the White House is vetting them whatsoever. Mary goes on to suggest that Beck is really only hunting for hyperbole that will scare white people, because “many of them have never had a conversation with a black person.”

Wow. I mean, this is her argument? That she doesn’t think many white people have ever even TALKED to a black person? REALLY????

Mary claims that Beck’s tactics with Van Jones are the same that were used by right wing conservative TV and radio hosts during the last election. Her proof? That when the video of Jeremiah Wright DAMNING AMERICA was uncovered, the “hosts at Fox News had a field day.” Like that was a BAD thing.

And now, Mary says that Van Jones “is being sacrificed in the same way the Rev. Wright was sacrificed.” Again, you guys, SHE MEANS THIS.

She finishes off her masterpiece of an article by saying that “Beck and people like him can’t seem to accept that John McCain lost the election and a black man and the people of his choosing are running the country.”

Yeah, Mary. That’s what white people are mad about. It has nothing to do with Obama’s radical spending or his need to surround himself with lunatics with no accountability or his insistence on expanding government at record rates or his intention to redistribute wealth or drive the private insurance industry out of business or apologize to other countries for how bad America sucks. Nope – we’re just all mad he’s BLACK.

Gawd.

Well, If CASTRO Says It, It MUST Be True

2009-08-25_143110

According to this, Fidel Castro thinks Obama is trying his darnedest to make all kinds of great changes to the US, but all of us pesky right-wingers are standing in his way, just because he’s black.  So now it’s not just the liberal left who’s accusing us of racism, it’s Fidel too!

Castro jumped on the Obama-Inherited-A-Bunch-Of-Problems-From-Bush bandwagon, and said that despite all of the positive efforts Obama was making, the “the extreme right hates him for being African-American and fights what the president does to improve the deteriorated image of that country.”

I don’t know about the rest of you crazy right-wingers, but if this isn’t the best affirmation that we’re doing something right that you’ve ever heard, I don’t know what is.  When liberals and Fidel Castro see eye to eye, then you know as a conservative you’re in good shape.

Maybe Fidel could go ahead and make statement about how mean everyone is being to Governor Paterson too.

John Stossel summed it up nicely when he said, “The President’s supporters should engage his critics with facts, not charges of racism.”  That there are repeated accusations against Obama’s critics of racism proves nothing except that the liberal left is just plain out of supporting facts.

But good job on getting Fidel Castro on your side, liberals.  You must be proud!

I Love This Video So Much

It’s basically a handful of Cambridge cops defending Crowley in the whole Gates fiasco. And, the best part is when the really adorable, professional, cool and collected, total badass chick cop says (about Obama), “I voted for him. I will NOT VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN.”

I would venture to say a lot of folks share in that sentiment here recently…

Latina Females Better Than White Males In Decision-Making Ability, According to Sotomayor

South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham would like Sonia Sotomayor to apologize.  Why, you ask?  Well, the judge made a comment about how “…a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Senator Graham, a Southern white dude, would like an apology.  And, I kind of don’t blame him.  Mainly because if the tables were turned and HE would’ve said these comments referring to HIM and how as a white man with HIS experiences, he would basically make a better judge than a Latina woman, he would’ve been completely reamed with demands for apologies.

According to this article, Graham went on to say, “If I had said something like that – or someone with my background and profile [had] – we wouldn’t be talking about this nomination going forward…. she’s got to prove to me that if I find myself in court with a Latina woman, in front of her, I’d get a fair shake, and that’s up to her to do.”

Of course, Sellout Boy Specter had to make a comment to act like people actually give a crap what he thinks these days, which, by the way, I found highly amusing.

Translation Needed, Please

Could someone please explain to me what in the holy hell Bobby Gibbs means by this absolutely non-sensical answer to a perfectly reasonable question (and one that I asked yesterday, by the way?)

Seriously. I have absolutely NO IDEA what he is trying to say. Anyone?

Janeane Garofalo Believes I Am A Racist, Neurologically-Challenged Stockholm Syndrome Victim.

Look at the love-fest happening between Janeane Garofalo and Keith Olbermann. He’s practically drooling at all of her hate-speech. I’m just going to summarize some of her drivel about the Tea Parties to save those of you who can’t bear to stomach actually listening to her:

1. “Let’s be very honest about what this is about. It’s not about bashing Democrats, it’s not about taxes – they have no idea what the Boston Tea Party was about (Keith interjects: That’s right). They don’t know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. This is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks and there is no way around that.”

2. “The limbic brain inside a right-winger or Republican or conservative or your average white power activist is much larger in their headspace than in a reasonable person and it’s pushing against the frontal lobe. So their synapses are misfiring. It is a neurological problem that we’re dealing with.”

3. “This is about racism. It could be any issue, any port in the storm. These guys HATE that a black guy is in the White House. They immigrant-bash. They pretend – it’s taxes and teabags, but like I said most of them couldn’t probably tell you thing one about taxation without representation, the Boston Tea Party, the British Imperialism, whatever the history lesson has to be. But these people -all white, for the most part, unless there’s some people with Stockholm Syndrome (Keith interjects:…Which was bad news for the people at Fox News who were staging this…).”

4. “The Republican movement – the conservative movement has now crystallized into the White Power movement. ”

She goes on to suggest that Fox News’ only viewers are the 18-35 Klan demographic and “urban older white guys and the women who suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.”

You know what I would love for her to show me? ANY DATA which shows that your average everyday conservatives have ever brought race up EVER when discussing their political ideologies. I couldn’t give two craps about Obama’s race, but now that she and the rest of her liberal buddies are so hell-bent on mentioning it, shouldn’t someone point out to HER that he’s every bit as white as he is black? I didn’t see one sign, or meet one person at our Tea Party who had an issue with the skin color of our President. When are liberals going to figure out that the only people making an issue out of his skin color are THEM?

Chicken and Monkeys and Political Correctness

sp32-20090316-132147

This article about the latest and greatest Obama-inspired product makes me giggle SO MUCH.  Some German food company, Sprehe,  thought it would be great marketing to Obama-fy their fried chicken fingers (which come with a tasty curry sauce, by the way).

I think it’s brilliant, but apparently there is concern about the racial overtones.  I’m not making this up.  The article says, “…there is a risk that the product might be seen as racially insensitive…”.

Gawd.  Seriously – how bored are you if get riled up over possible racial overtones of GERMAN CHICKEN FINGERS?!?

The sales manager for the company says, “It was supposed to be a homage to the American lifestyle and the new US president.”  The whole race issue didn’t even occur to her, because she is a normal human being who doesn’t get offended by every last freaking thing.

You know, speaking of getting offended over NOTHING, my sister once found an adorable picture of a baby monkey, which made everyone who saw it involuntarily smile.  It was just a harmless picture of a baby monkey.  And because she saw how happy it made people just to look at this baby monkey picture, she decided to spread the joy and posted the picture all over our office – on doorways, in the breakroom, in the bathrooms, in cupboards, etc.  The idea was that people would stumble upon this precious picture of the baby monkey and involuntarily smile.  But you know what happened?  The cleaning crew complained.  They were offended by the monkey picture and felt it was somehow a slam on them.  WHAT IN THE HOLY HELL!??!

People need to Lighten. The Freak. UP.  I mean, seriously – does this offend you?
