Question.

If any, and I mean ANY conservative comedian were to make a joke like this, how quickly would the racism accusations fly?

Just curious. And warning: NSFW language.

Bill Maher Tries To Sound Smart. FAILS.

In Bill Maher’s rainbow-and-skittles world, Brazil doesn’t use oil. Except to cook with maybe, or perhaps while sunbathing. And in that same Brazilian oil-free paradise that Bill has conjured up, they’ve been “off oil” for like THIRTY YEARS, what with all of their sugarcane and ethanol and whatnot.

So to see his face, when George Will calls him on that ridiculousness, is COMEDY GOLD. All of a sudden, he goes from looking confident and cocky to looking like he knows he miiiiight have just said the dumbest thing ever.

FYI Bill, Brazil is the 7th biggest user of oil. And not just the cooking and baby kind.

Speaking Of Crazy White People

We can only ask why…why….WHY do people laugh at this crap?

Sheeple.

More Compassion From The Left

Wow. Laughing at the former VP’s heart attack. Classy!

This Just In: Bill Maher Remains Pathetically Delusional And Not Funny

Bill Maher – the crusader for black people everywhere, apparently – is now taking headlines and painting them as ‘subliminal racism.’ Can someone please punch this guy in the face? Yesterday?

You know, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the reason racism even continues to exist is because of people like Maher. When I read the headline, I saw “negative.” When HE read it, however, he read something racial. Huh. So maybe MAHER is the blatant racist here….just a thought.

GAWD.

Bill Maher Thinks You’re Stupid.

Stay classy, Bill.  Really.

My Lukewarm Feelings Toward Meghan McCain Have Officially Been Downgraded To Cold.

Let the record reflect that I’m about to be critical of a Republican. So, liberals – rejoice. :)

I hereby declare that I want Meghan McCain to stop talking.

Meghan McCain, although well-intentioned and earnest, is doing a disservice to Republicans by speaking in public about politics as a representative of the Republican party. BEHOLD – her horrific appearance on the Bill Maher show. Now, I LOATHE Bill Maher and Paul Begala – I find them despicable. But in this instance, Begala gave Meghan McCain EXACTLY what she had coming. And Bill Maher was quite NICE to her.

This is huge for me, you guys. I never thought I’d say Begala was right about anything, and I never thought I’d say that Bill Maher was remotely human about anything. But it’s true here. In both cases.

Meghan can’t behave like a political pundit only when it’s convenient for her, and then play the dumb blonde when asked to defend her assertions by saying, “I wasn’t even born yet” or acting pouty when someone’s (gasp!) mean to her. She was an absolute embarrassment on this show, and hopefully learned that perhaps she’s not cut out for the talk show circuit.

Here’s the thing. If Daisy and I were EVER asked to defend our positions about the stuff we write, we’d simply provide the source material, and explain that our reactions are meant to be representative of how NORMAL REGULAR EVERY DAY CONSERVATIVE PEOPLE might react when presented with the same source material. We’d say that we write on this blog because we are opinionated and have healthy enough egos to believe that other people might be interested in what we have on our minds. We’d say that we’re here simply to put a different face on conservatism other than the stereotypical old white dude. But we’d never claim to be experts – political or economic or otherwise, because we’re not. We’d never position our beliefs as anything other than personal opinions/reactions to current events. Meghan has crossed into territory, willingly or unwittingly, where she’s being positioned as a “voice” for the Republican party, and she’s desperately unqualified do that.

The fact that she’s admittedly friends with Tila Tequila doesn’t help.
