Remember when journalists used to be journalists? And not the kind of journalists that Diane McHosebeast says that journalists are these days? But the kind that actually spoke the truth, without kow-towing around Dear Leader's feelings and creating separate magazine covers, so as not to hurt his delicate sensibilities?
Behold the latest cover of Time Magazine - the one that is being used in Europe/Middle East/Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific:
And here's the one that's being used in the United States:
"America's Weak and Waffling," y'all.
And Russia? Well, they're rich and resurgent, and Putin just doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks about him. But Time Magazine sure cares what Obama thinks about Time Magazine.
This isn't the first time that Time has done this, and it probably won't be the last. Back in December 2011, the American people were subjected to a hard-hitting cover with a little stick man about a little anxiety being good for you, while the rest of the world got a picture of an Arab rebel wearing a gas mask.
But you're too much of a wuss to handle that picture. You know.
In other words, there's nothing to see here, folks. Obama's American media is at work. So just move along, minions.
