Way To Keep It Classy, Jerry Brown. Nice Work.

Written by

So, you know how California is a giant ball of suck if you're a business owner?

Why yes.  Yes, it is.

And Texas governor Rick Perry?  Like any good free-market-loving capitalist conservative, he sees California's sucktastic loss as his gain.

Of course, California governor Jerry Brown doesn't like being called out on being the poster-boy for crappy policies that suck the life out of business so much that they're happy to mosey on over to Texas for a shot at success.  He definitely didn't like the 30-second radio ad that ran in California cities, which invited "them to come check out Texas for better business and is just one more punch thrown in the ongoing back-and-forth between the two very different governors about whose state presents a better business model."

Gov. Jerry Brown publicly scoffed at Gov. Rick Perry’s attempt to draw Californians to Texas for better business, saying that the ad campaign is “barely a fart."  It's not a serious story, guys, the Californian Democrat told reporters at a business event, the Sacramento Bee reported Tuesday.  It's not a burp.  It's barely a fart.”

Brown told reporters that if Perry wanted to be taken seriously, he would have to spend at least $25 million on radio and television ads. The ad paid for by TexasOne was a mere $24,000, which, Brown mockingly called “the smallest entry into the media market of California.”

According to the Bee, Brown brushed off Perry’s ad at an appearance at a UPS distribution center, where the company was celebrating the dispatch of a fleet of all-electric vehicles. The Californian is a staunch supporter of the state’s efforts to promote green energy industries and efforts.

Translation?  Poor Jewwwwey got his feewings hurt.  So he's fighting back with fart and burp metaphors on the playground.  I think he kicked some dirt in Rick's face, too.  And called him a poo-poo head.

Because of COURSE he did.

I don't know about y'all, but I'm ready for a cage match here.  And between you and me, my money would TOTALLY ride on the guy who doesn't act like a 9-year-old girl.
