This is a thing of beauty.
Piers was absolutely scared to death of Shapiro making the point that tyrannies can be guarded against, not just militarily, but ideologically. It's a matter of optics. The vision of a government slowly disarming and taking over its people is a whole lot more palatable than a government mowing down its armed citizenry with bigger weapons. You disarm the people and they can't fight back. If they remain armed, they likely won't need to fight back as no sane administration would undertake an effort to slaughter them, which is what it would take.Ideological win for Shapiro. And yes, that book looks very interesting.
Wow I laughed so hard when Piers Morgan used the law limiting how much pseudo ephedrine you can buy in his argument. That is ANOTHER example of a stupid law that was passed because instead of enforcing drug laws, politicians decided to just make it super hard to get for EVERYONE.
My primary issue is with Piers Morgan cherry-picking isolated incidents, blowing them out of proportion, and then becoming a prancing drama llama when he is called on it.
It's a thing of beauty except Piers Morgan makes me want to shove butter knives in my ears.
I don't understand the constant question, "Who NEEDS an AR 15? Why do you NEED that gun?" Who CARES? Maybe nobody NEEDS it! Maybe they just WANT it! Who NEEDS a private jet? A Ferrari? A Hummer? A multi-million dollar home? FIVE homes? Do you really NEED them?Honestly, it's just an INANE question and someone needs to answer these dopes who don't understand that freedom means you can HAVE things even if you don't NEED them.
