One of our clever and competent readers posted on our facebook wall last night, and let us know what one of her liberal male friends thought about our site.  At first (as you'll read) I thought I'd add it to our Wall of Shame, but then I decided it was too funny and awesome to put anywhere but right into a regular post.

BEHOLD:

There are simply no words to express how much glee I get when people think we're secretly rich dudes who either hide behind made up pictures/personalities to create "more palatable" commentary for the "masses" or better yet, that we are who we SAY we are, but we're PAID by rich dudes to run this site.  I LOVE THAT. 

As if someone would ever pay us to do stuff like this:

I read the above exchange to Mr. Mock, and he laughed and said I should take a photo of the coin jar we have on top of our washing machine to save for his car repairs.  Yup - it's the glamorous life here in the Mock household. 

Daisy and I LONG FOR THE DAY when we become paid operatives.  We would be delighted and overjoyed to be paid operatives.  We'd be delighted and overjoyed to be paid at all.  If y'all know anyone looking for some paid operatives, please send them our way.  Seriously.
