HAPPY NEW YEAR, clever and competent readers! This is part two of our 2012 recap - and this part is focused on the GOOD stuff from 2012. We kinda had trouble thinking of stuff, as you'll see, because, well, Obama is president. And that makes for a relatively craptacular year from a political standpoint.
Side note: since we reference the earlier post about my mom's book in this video, I thought I should also mention that the Nobel Prize winning scientist that I mentioned in that post, Rita Levi-Montalcini, died yesterday in Italy. She was truly a remarkable lady. And the gentleman who talks about her a bit in that sourcelink, Pietro Callisano, was a junior scientist in her lab, and my dad was his assistant.
So proud of my bird parents. ![]()
Anyway, here's the 2012 recap, along with a side serving of college football and New Year's Resolution chatter.
