You might recall Daisy telling you about some ads that went up in NYC subway stations a couple weeks ago. Notably, one was being spray painted by a total pinko commie liberal nutcase.
This article I just read about those ads and the resulting reaction to them has totally given me the heebies.
The ads say, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad."
Now, I don’t know about you all, but I find those three short sentences to be completely inarguable. I mean, if you’re an American with any sense of morality, decency, and LOGICAL THOUGHT, then you agree that a) it’s best to support a civilized man over a savage, b) Israel is our greatest (and really ONLY) ally in the mid-East, and c) Jihad basically sucks monkeyballs and those who wish to wage it are animals. Right?
And yet, inexplicably, IN AMERICA, there are wackos who are calling those ads “racist” and “hate speech,” including the lunatic Daisy referred to in her earlier post linked above.
Worse, the mainstream media is perpetuating the hate speech narrative. WaPo said the words could be read as “hateful” and that the ad could be seen as “offensive.” A CNN columnist (and rabbi, if you can even fathom that) wrote a column about the ads, titled, “A right to hate speech, a duty to condemn."
I think I speak for most patriotic Americans with Actual Brains when I say, “WTF?”
HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERED HATE SPEECH?
The sourcelink’s author says critics claim that the word “jihad” means “spiritual quest” to lots of peaceful Muslims, and that perhaps the outrage over the ads is due to the inherent association of jihad with rampant killing of innocent people.
But you know what? That is complete BS. Anyone with firing synapses can read that in the appropriate context. CLEARLY, the ad is not meant to say, “Hey peaceful Muslims! We are so totally going to rain on your spiritual quest parade!” No. The ad says what it means. It says peace-loving people have the duty to support Israel and do whatever is in their power to defeat those who wish to harm Israel or the western world.
It’s absolutely sickening that ANYONE would lend credibility to the vandals and criticizers of these ads by saying, “Well, it’s hate speech, but they have a right to say it because of the First Amendment.” This isn’t about the First Amendment. What this is about is completely misdirected criticism. These ads reflect, rightly so, a contempt for the savage animals who wish to destroy us. And yet, we’ve got moronic media and people with whom I’m ashamed to share citizenship saying that this is HATE SPEECH. OMG. I guarantee you that these are the same idiots who think America is somehow to BLAME for the 9/11 attacks.
This is what political correctness is all about. And it’s yet one more reason why I will never ever ever ever be politically correct.
So, all you savages calling for jihad? BITE ME.
