Apparently, the meeting between the NRA and Joey McMensa - you know, the one to discuss gun grabbing that Obama said he'd never do - didn't go so well.
In a statement released shortly after Thursday’s meeting, the NRA said it was “disappointed with how little” the meeting “had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment.” Read the entire statement below (emphasis added):
Waaaait - the meeting WASN'T all about keeping children safe? You mean, the left would use a tragedy like this to implement more overall, general gun control and use big government to infringe personal freedoms granted by the U.S. Constitution?
Here's bonus video of McMensa pontificating about this issue. I'll warn you, though. The last ten seconds, I do believe he's drifting off, thinking about yummy sandwiches. Or something.
