They’re so crazy that they may actually have a case. Huh.
The whole Obama-birth-certificate issue has always been an interesting one to me. I’ve remained on the fence when it comes to it, mainly because I’m one of those chicks who hates chatter about this sort of thing and prefers to see cold, hard facts. Enter Sheriff Joe’s Cold Case Posse, who has done a bit of sleuthing and come up with some evidence that points to the birth certificate, as well as Obama’s selective service card, being as fake as Joan River’s face.
And before the spend-happy (but not for this stuff, of course) libs blow some collective arteries about it being a waste of money, the investigation cost taxpayers nothing. It was all volunteer.
Of course, there are a TON of folks coming out of the woodwork, attacking Sheriff Joe for this investigation, trying to make him look like a moron. Which is just piggybacking on all the other media folks who have wanted to make anyone who questions the validity of Obama’s birth certificate or any portion of his past, for that matter, appear batcrap crazy.
You can do a Google search right now for this, and you’ll see a slew of articles like this one – which I stopped reading after the second sentence, FYI. Mainly because a “journalist” should know the damn difference between its and it’s. This isn’t so much opinion as it is fact.
But I digress.
In the meantime, here’s a video on this subject, and I will admit freely that I was a bit shocked to see it was a CBS affiliate.
And, whether or not the plot thickens here depends on how you see this issue…

Something simply smells with this guy. There is so much about him that’s covered up or unknown and that should have rung alarm bells for any thinking person.
Anyone who spends over a million dollars to keep something covered up? They have something to hide…
This is one to watch. At first I thought the Birthers were a little nutty. However, unless some super computer-geeks can discredit Zullo’s investigative techniques, he may have something. I say, put it to the test. If BO has nothing to hide, why has he been hiding so much?
It’s amazing to me that the “leader of the free world” doesn’t have to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he/she is eligible for the office…BEFORE RUNNING FOR ELECTION! I mean, seriously! Apparently, you need more credentials to get a freaking driver’s license! It’s insane.
My kids need a birth certificate to go to school, yet the president doesn’t have to present one. He is so arrogant that he would laugh about it. Gotta love the double standard too (imagine if a repub didn’t present one; his resignation would be mandatory). Why are the birthers considered “out there”? When someone assumes the presidency, they should have to lay three things on a table: state id (drivers license), proof of residency for 14 years and YES a birth certificate indicating that the person was born in the USA. Folks, you’ve all been duped.
I have no doubt that obama was born in Kenya, but nothing will come of this. No one will do anything about it. Congress is afraid to address this issue. I DO hope that it will be enough to make people question whether or not to vote for obama, and decide to vote for the GOP candidate.
It’s called “due diligence” and it was an EPIC.FAIL on so many fronts. The press. Congress. THE FREAKIN’ AMERICAN POPULATION. That they would willingly accept “cause I said so” and I don’t HAVE to prove it because I’m a black man and if you question me then you are…RAAAACCCIIISSTTT.

My middle son went to get his license here in Colorado and had to take the usual two forms of ID…and since one of them was a Texas BC, he had to show a third form of ID…3 forms of ID to get a license and this clown doesn’t have to prove anything?
Side show and carnival barkers? Please…there’s a lot he wants to distract us from….rather curious as to what the life span is going to be for Zullo.
Something else that I wonder…if we can prove this and get his ass out of the White House….what happens to all the law that he has signed in? Do we roll back to 2008? And that would mean that Obamacare is outta here?
All you young folks, write this down. In 50 years or so there will be a best seller expose on this, giving every bit of info on what he is hiding.
I’m not sure what it all is but he is hiding all his info and his academic info bothers me as much or more than this BC stuff.
Once again, it’s not the crime itself, but the cover-up that brings the storm. Questions of Obama’s natural birth are now a sideshow. The larger, immediate, criminal issue now on the table is a deliberate and calculated attempt by the President and his staff to obstruct justice and defraud the American people.
So a year ago when our oh-so sensitive President finally succumbed to needling from of all people Donald Trump, he released his “long form birth certificate”. Oddly no photocopies of the alleged original document were provided, even to the Whitehouse press corps. Like the rest of us schmucks they were directed to download the pdf file off whitehouse.gov.
Lo and behold, the pdf file itself shows the allegedly original document to be not just an electronic forgery, but according to forensic computer analysts a particularly bad and poorly executed electronic forgery. ( didn’t any of these clowns read/watch Michael Chrichton’s “Rising Sun” ? )

Otherwise as a degreed Electrical Engineer/CompSci with an extensive background in digital image analysis I would compliment Mr. Zullo and his team on a logical, comprehensive and thorough presentation. The results would convince all but the most zealous progressive koolaid drinkers that our Whitehouse continues to be infested by a rat pack of propeller beanied sophomores whose college transcripts were probably poorly forged in much the same manner.
I have always thought that Obama was not an American citizen from the first time I saw him on Oprah’s show. There was just something about him that didn’t ring true. I had a gut feeling then and I still have it now. Too many things just don’t add up. I really hope the Sheriff continues with his investigation and I will back him in his right to do so. My son was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, of two American parent on an American AB in an American Base Hospital. We were given a copy of the hospital birth certificate. We had to obtain a German Birth Certificate and allso fill out a form for the birth of a child in a Foreign Country to be submitted to the State Department. We had to have his picture added to my passport before we could return to the US. Upon returning to the US we had to fill out reams of paperwork and go through the process of having Naturalization papers filed before a Federal Judge. I had to take my son to Baltimore, MD, and swear an oath of alligence to US for him. By this time he was four years old. I taught him to repeat the oath of Alligence to the US so he could repeat it along with me before the judge. I also explained to him why we had to do all of this so that there was never any question of his citizenship. At four years of age he understood he was an American Citizen. So you see, I have a lot of questions about Obama’s birth and I feel every patroit American should be asking the same questions. I would like to have the opportunity to question Obama in person. And, what about his father’s mother? And why do both he and Michelle speak of Uganda as his home country. That is in videos that have been aired on the news media. Plus he was supposed the be born in Aug l961. Uganda did not become a Country till l963, two years after he was born. If he’s an American citizen how could he obtain a foreign aid studen loan to attend Columbia University or law school. These are a few items that leave a bad taste in your mouth. Why won’t he release his transcripts from Columbia? I could go on and on but I hope I’ve said enough to whet your appetite for the truth.
Everything is shifty and underhanded about this president, but it didn’t start with his run for the presidency. He has cheated his way into everything he’s done. His first run for Congress, he had everyone else thrown off the ballot. He is pure and simple, a thug. We have a thug for a president.
The only thing that surprised me about this news story was the reporter saying “BS.” I believe the birth certificate is a fake; however, I also believe that nothing will ever be done about it.

I watched the original news conference live, and the explanation and illustration of how they determined the document to be fake left no doubts about it. Additionally they proved his selective service card was a fake as well. So much other info in their investigation indicates a massive cover up.
Just watched the video, and if the information about obama’s selective service registration is pretty damning.
I am one such computer geek, and everything they put forth to disprove the document is real and factual. I took the one uploaded by the White House apart myself. You don’t even have to be that good at PhotoShop to do it. That said, it’s almost as if the person who put it together wanted him to be caught. There are LOTS of ways to have flattened the document and remove the layers that expose it, but that wasn’t done. More power to the one put in charge of creating such a powerful fake document. I was always on the fence with birthers too, until I watched the YouTube videos. I have no doubts now.
(I’ve NEVER believed a word Obama’s uttered though. He’s a much more scary, destructive fake.)
I’m going against the grain here. The birther thing.. is just… almost laughable at this point.
This guys few words on his conclusions are factual in the “way” he found them, but it doesn’t mean that’s the way it happened. Several computer programs, Adobe Reader and Photoshop included, when scanning in the document can scan in layers if there are multiple colors or multiple tones and then rasterizes the layers into one document/scan. So it’s possible he found layers – but it doesn’t mean that’s the definitive proof of anything really. If you use settings and programs, such as a HD/HQ scan (high def/high quality depending on your settings), it doesn’t read and upload the document like you are running it through a copier. The better the quality, the more layers it reads. This is why a setting such as grayscale scanning takes 2 seconds, black and white takes 5 and color takes 10.
There are some fishy things here and there – but the things people are ready to cling onto are again, laughable. Additionally, even with ONE US parent, which his mother was, he was eligible for citizenship anyway. And being that it was his mother, it was the easiest for citizenship (the father’s path was more difficult). There were a few loose guidelines during his birth time, but generally there was loopholes and other ways that basically meant about nothing to get citizenship.
And most importantly, he has a plethora, a magnitude of rational, provable and realistic things to go after Obama about. The more anyone clings to this birth certificate issue, the more it detracts from things ACTUALLY happening in this country. The more we detract from it, the less attention we can give to issues we need to tackle for our country, our citizens and each other.
I also find two other things very funny in all this. The amount of “experts” in comments who crawl out of the woodwork who have no idea how basic programs work, let alone anything further advanced (and I’m just a lowly “user” and self taught photo editor who took 5 minutes to read the guides on the programs and electronics I was using) and second, the fact that anyone can herald Arpaio.
The biggest media hounding, flashy spending goofball on the face of the planet. And that’s not a “liberal influence”. The dude spent hundreds of thousands for a dang tank when the city was hurting for cash… or plasters everywhere he was the first to re-institute chain gangs when there was 3 others going on in the country.. or the hundred other questionable media whoring things he has done for years.
hot damn, I’m actually impressed by our little cbs affiliate (maybe I’ll start watching them – nah…). While I am not a birther, there is something that stinks about this whole thing. Its not to say there isn’t an actual birth certificate, but why provide something that can be torn apart? Maybe that’s the point, get people all worked up about it (one way or another) and make the right look like loons then there’s more support from the middle of the road or someone is just an idiot. Either way, we have to keep our eyes on the prize and get the man out of office.
Seola: no, his mother’s citizenship would NOT automatically confer citizenship on him: the child of a US citizen mother gets citizenship that way IF she has lived in the US for a certain number of years, some number of those after her 18th birthday – and at the age she was at the time, it was impossible for his mother to meet that requirement.
This is a distraction.
When I worked on government “greeting cards”, the security investigations dug up people I forgot I had ever met. It included my birth certificate, and depending on the level of security and for which greeting card manufacturer, I had to detail where I lived and who I knew for up to 20 years. And then the men and women in grey and brown trench coats interviewed ALL OF THEM.
Are elected Senators eposed to this level or scrutiny? I would think that each and every senator would need a Top Secret/SCI clearance to participate in even the most basic intelligence briefs.
Was the traitor scrutinized as a Senator? What happens if an elected official fails a security investigation?

I don’t know if the birth certificate is genuine or not, but I prefer that the subject be dropped right here. If Obama is discovered to be a non-citizen and has to leave office, that means Joe Biden will become president. The only thing I can think of that would be worse for the country than for Obama to remain president if for Biden to become president. That truly scares the crap out of me!
Usually I’m the last person to believe a conspiracy theory, but I find all of this fascinating and will continue to follow this investigation of Obama’s BC.
But what I’ve wondered all along is how, if it is indeed fake, did Hillary Clinton’s campaign machine not uncover the hoax? Didn’t she give rise to the ‘birther’ movement with her initial questions of its authenticity? She’s such a political bull dog, with such deep aspirations for the White House, that I find it hard to believe that she just willingly let this slide in ’08…
Seola, even with his mother being a U.S. citizen, and him being eligible for citizenship, it does not make him a natural born citizen. Our founding fathers put this requirement in to prevent a foreign plant from becoming president.
Why cover everything up? I still don’t get that part. Why spend all the money and lawyers, if it’s not his birth, what else is hidden? It’s not the B.C., it’s the extraordinary cover up.

But seriously, let’s discuss the efficacy of this issue with respect to the end game that must be the defeat of Obama and dismemberment of the progressives.
Would you give me that the election hinges not on the hardened “base” of each respective side but on the critical 30-35% affiliation independent “swing” voters ?
If so, are these “swing” voters, who voted overwhelmingly for Obama in 2008 susceptible to movement based on a continuous “drip,drip,drip” of evidence showing that “hope and change” has become “more of the same” ?
While the direct evidence in the “birther” questions can now be sequestered under the imprimatur of “national security”, this laughably forged “document” stands on it’s own as evidence of fraud.
Consider the “CSI” effect in our society at large and testimony of the digital forensic experts who, after an exhaustive examination of the April 2011 pdf file stated without reservation “this is not just a digital forgery, it’s a bad and poorly executed digital forgery”.
My contention (for what little that’s worth), is that this issue can be used as yet another powerful appeal to the popular sentiment among the independent electorate that “We won’t get fooled again.”

as a not-computer-geek but player with photoshop and whatnot- i had downloaded that BC also and found i could move things in layers. here’s what gets me: people are saying a high quality scanner would scan in layers and blah blah blah- WHY DO THAT if trying to prove it’s real? and if you are loading it onto the web, WHY NOT UPLOAD THE EQUIVALENT TO AN ELECTRONIC PHOTOCOPY ANYWAY? then nothing can be taken apart and it is flattened.
i used to work for a photo company and i never “scanned in layers” doing digital restorations- even accidentally. i could duplicate the layers in order to work on separate things in a photo, which is how our “guru” taught us to restore things, but we didn’t scan in layers. and we had some pretty pricey equipment to work with- and no, it was not at walgreens either.

This is where I started having my doubts! Found this to be pretty interesting, the date of the article and all.
I’ve always thought that it’s a real possibility he’s not been born here.
But you all forget that born here or not, he was not raised here. He was raised by Muslim Communists and educated in Muslim Madrossas. This much is not up for debate – it’s fact that he himself admits and is provable.
My question is how American can you be when your entire upbringing and formative years were spent in Indonesia being raised and educated by everything that seems at odds with America.
I say he’s culturally, unAmerican. Other questions, like how the hell did he get into Harvard? Who paid for that? Why is it that other students in his year, in his major – none of them ever remember him? How is it that he was the editor of Harvard’s newspaper, and yet there is not one singular credit to his name, not one single byline in the whole of the archives? This list goes on and on. Why was he disbarred? Why was Michelle disbarred?
Why did he spend over 2 million dollars in legal fees supressing and quashing all these law suits if he had nothing to hide?
Everthing about Obama is anti-American, I just wish people would realize that while you may dislkie the GOP for social issue reasons, just because Obama has a D after his name doesn’t make him good for your party or the country. This man should be immediately impeached. But, it won’t happen.
Obama is unofficially, untouchable. There is no way that Congress is going to start impeachment hearings on the first (half) black president – just look at what happened with Rodney King. Can you imagine what would happen if Obama was succesfully impeached? Face it, Boehner is hoping that Obama just doesn’t win reelection and then we don’t need to talk about any of this anymore. I do believe, however, if somehow (cheating) Obama wins reelection, Congress will be forced to consider impeachment. Assuming this whole birther issue produces no results.

I was born north of the border to two natural-born American parents and lived there less than a year, but based on the fact that I have a naturalization certificate and am a dual citizen, it seems likely that I would not be considered a “natural born citizen” as it pertains to the office of the presidency. So Obama’s mama’s citizenship certainly doesn’t automatically confer “natural-born” status on him either. Admittedly, the question of what constitutes “natural born” is subject to some debate, but if he was in fact born abroad, and of his two parents only his mother was a US citizen, then he is NOT, by any definition, a natural born citizen. Period.
Please keep up the great work! We at the DCCC could not in a million years find a better way to marginalize the right then what you guys seem he-ll bent on achieving.

I saw on YouTube (yeah, I know not a reputable source, but bear with me here), that not only did Hawaii NOT have a birth certificate for him, but they REFUSED to certify him for ballot in 2008. Then, the DNC came in and insisted they do it anyhow. SO, there are TWO letters from Hawaii out there, one saying he couldn’t be certified, then another saying that he was certified by the NATIONAL DNC not the state of Hawaii. This implies, of course, that all this is true.
The reason I bring it up is, does anyone have a source other than YouTube?

IF BHO is shown to NOT be eligible to hold office and is removed, each and every thing he’s done and every law he’s passed, and every executive order will be null and void.
For me, that is a HUGE deal, so I think we need to fully investigate this before we get any more over our heads in socialism.
I have to prove I’m a US citizen to get a crummy job at McDonald’s, but King Obama doesn’t have to prove anything to anybody. Why does he keep getting away with this stuff? The arrogant ass thumbs his nose at the Constitution, laws, our country and all true Americans. But nobody in power will call his bluff. Why are they all afraid of him? It has to be fear that’s keeping his smoke screen going. Maybe he learned a little too much in Chicago? Is our tax money paying for “enforcers” too? At this point I can’t really say I’d be surprised.
