You guys – she’s every bit as awesome as we just KNEW SHE WOULD BE. We spent a half hour skyping with Mia Love this morning, and will be sharing our interview with y’all over the next few days. Here’s the first segment, in which we are COMPLETE DORKS at the beginning, because we’re just so excited to talk to her. Enjoy! And make sure to keep up with Mia’s campaign at her website!

Wow… Her parents came here with $10 in their pockets. What an amazing story. Can’t wait to hear more of what she has to say! What a fun chat that must have been.

Mia is the real deal. She works hard and succeeds at everything she sets her mind to and has a long track record of accomplishing her goals, politically and personally. Go Mia!

Thanks Daisy and Mockarena for this great interview. Mia is truly genuine and sincere person. When I first joined her campaign, what struck me was how really down to earth she was.

She is proof why legal immigration is so important. She gets it. Her parents get it. And I certainly understand her fear.

She gives me hope…not of the pablum variety Obama peddles.

    She reminds me of Palin!

Weepy, weepy glees. If ONLY there were more heroines and heroes like her out there. And God bless her parents. I’m having my daughter watch this one, Chicks. What a role model.

I Love Mia!! I came from Cuba at the age of 13 in 1973 – and see myself and my family in Mia’s story. God Bless you all!
