Awwww….Obama’s Mad At That Meanie Jan Brewer

Written by  //  January 26, 2012  //  The Makeover And/Or Miscellaneous  //  39 Comments

I’m having a flashback to middle school girl ‘politics’…

According to this, Obama met with Arizona Governor (and total badass) Jan Brewer for an official visit. On the tarmac, he seemed peeved with her, presumably because she wrote about him in her book, “Scorpions for Breakfast,” in which she talks about how Obama lectured her while she was in the White House.

Never mind her being cordial and professional, handing him a handwritten letter to discuss ACTUAL WORK and the state of Arizona. Nah. He lectured her (again) and then walked away from her while she was still talking.

Ah yes…nothing like a POTUS with the backbone of a pre-teen girl.

Of course she respects the office of President. We all do. I, just don’t respect the current occupant of that office.
Here is the best photo from their encounter.

Aww the “off the plane jog” I so love to see, and her book sales just soared LOL

Condescending and lacking any concept of boundaries…he has his hand on her but the press is all uppity about her pointing

Daisy…that comparison was just plain mean and a disservice to pre-teen girls EVERYWHERE. THEY can’t help their behavior given the hormones raging through their bodies (and FYI…I have TWO in my house right now and it SUCKS). The smartest man on the face of the planet can.

South Park as you know has some very astute observations. In a recent episode it was said “When we asked Obama to do something about the immigration problem, we didn’t mean for him to make this country so shi77y that no one would want to come here.”

  6. EmployedOkie January 26, 2012 at 9:14 am ·

Too bad it’d be a federal crime to bitchslap him. If he grabbed me like that during an argument I’d deck him.

  7. Tim January 26, 2012 at 9:14 am ·

I’d have given him a swift kick in the twig and berries.

  8. EmployedOkie January 26, 2012 at 9:14 am ·

Btw, him grabbing her like that IS assault…. Just sayin’…

  9. Missy January 26, 2012 at 9:45 am ·

So much for being OUR president too!

  10. Katw January 26, 2012 at 9:54 am ·

Look at that condensending smirk, the arrogance is dripping off his face. I applaud Governor Brewer’s self control. If he would have looked at me like that and grabbed my arm I would have decked him one. Where is Zsa Zsa Gabor when you need her?

Carolyn – I’m sorry. I need to send you a dump truck full of wine. I lived through those years for our soon-to-be-college graduate, and I’ll be living through them again in approximately 10-11 years with almost-two-year old Dandelion. We’re spacing out the lunacy to make it more manageable. You know.

Two at once…..oy. May the force be with you. ;-)

as a Arizonian, Go Jan Go Jan Go Jan!!!! I heard the interview later with one of our local DJs http://standwitharizona.com/blog/2012/01/25/jan-brewer-on-tarmac-confrontation-obama-tense-thin-skinned-audio/ and my first thought is he sounds like a spoiled teenager who didn’t get the right colored Iphone for Christmas.

  13. Sara K January 26, 2012 at 10:31 am ·

Regarding the POTUS being a condescending manhandler with the thinnest skin on the planet – he’s lucky that’s all he got. She may the 2nd best governor imo (can we ditch term limits in IN?).

Regarding teenage girls – my girls are currently 3, 6, and 9. In about 7 or 8 years my husband says he’s going to lock himself in a saferoom and I can just deliver his meals there ;)

  14. EmployedOkie January 26, 2012 at 10:54 am ·

My middle school and teenage daughters always mind and never have an attitude. They are also imaginary.

After listening to Gov. Jan Brewer’s radio interview there was something that I caught. IMO President Obama disrespected her from the start by calling her Jan as he approached rather than addressing her as Governor. Apparently President Obama failed to pay attention to etiquette lessons that I am sure were given shortly after he was elected since he seems to fail at proper greetings and respect so many times.

  16. EmployedOkie January 26, 2012 at 11:01 am ·

lizard, at least he didn’t bow.

  17. ant January 26, 2012 at 11:08 am ·

Not unexpected. He’s only President of some of us and all of Mexico. 10 months..that is all.

Here in Arizona, we love Jan Brewer’s never-back-down attitude combined with the poise and grace she exudes. To be honest, other than her veto of allowing concealed carry on college campuses, I have had no disagreements with her. She vetoed that bill, not because of what it proposed but because it carried riders and amendments that detracted from the intent of the base bill. So, I’m not all that upset with her over it.

But we LOVE Jan. I go back and watch her interview with Bill Whittle every so often. My main detraction from Jan is her speaking voice is a little cacophonic. I can overlook that, though. She is head and shoulders above her predecessor, our current head of the domestic gestapo.

However, I agree with Neal Boortz. She wagged the wrong finger at 0bama.

Oh, and I ate a scorpion and egg chili relleno for breakfast this morning in her honor.

    Obama at his petulant best.

I do believe he did this with Jindal as well.

I hope that the RNC has a few psychologists and therapists on their staff and that they are watching the chosen one’s behavior. They will be able to learn what affects him, makes him mad, makes him passive-agressive, and will coach the candidate on what buttons to push to make him lose control or act like the prissy, momma jeans wearing wuss he really is.

Sara K….I just LOL’d at your comment. When my husband and I found out that Dandelion was a girl (at our 20-week ultrasound), I think I actually witnessed several of the remaining hairs on his head turn gray.

Being the parent of a 21 yr. old daughter I can say the safe room is the best idea yet. I wish i had thought that about 10 years ago…damn!

You should have a photo caption contest for the Jan-Brewer-pointing-her-finger-at-POTUS pic.

My entry: “I am LADY, Sir, therefore I will NOT pull down my pants to show you what a real pair of balls looks like!”

  28. Judith Highgate January 26, 2012 at 4:32 pm ·

Jan Brewer does not need to apologize for any of her actions. What an immature, unprofessional, retalitory, bleep bleep he is. Instead of getting off the plane, shaking her hand and going about the business at hand, he showed everyone what he is made of. He should be ashamed of himself, and I know like many many many of you out there, that we will not be re-electing someone that only cares about Mexican Votes. SHAME SHAME SHAME
    Sincerely,
    A TRUE AMERICAN

  29. Elise January 26, 2012 at 6:03 pm ·

My entry for the hypothetical caption contest:
“Mr. President, you have a little bit of residual bull**** on your chin there…”

Buckeye Bob, I want that photo blown up poster size. I knew I liked that gal.

I heard Gov. Brewer speak at the NRA convention. She has a spine and bigger balls than the thin skinned Kenyan C********* will ever have.

As for his visit yesterday he put nearly 10,000 people out of work for the day and many of them did not get paid for the day. What was he here for? To talk about job creation.

    Jan Brewer for President!!!

  31. Sara K January 26, 2012 at 7:36 pm ·

    @ Daisy,
we laugh too… for now ;) in a few years it might not feel so funny. i may need my own saferoom. or an endless supply of grey goose ;)

  32. Elise January 26, 2012 at 9:23 pm ·

@Daisy and Sara K: I have three girls: a 13 year old, an almost-11-year-old, and an almost-9-year-old… Someone kill me now… lol… I am SO glad that our four-year-old is a boy. Love the safe room idea, but I will be the one locking myself in it; once we get past the shock and awe of the first period, the hubby can take it from there. Sheesh… Can’t even go to the freakin’ BATHROOM by myself. I think I deserve to escape! ;-)

On topic: I was at the gym today, watching the TV when MSNBC aired this story. I didn’t even know what it was about when they showed that picture B.B. posted… giggled so hard the elliptical machine nearly threw me off. Jan Brewer is my hero, God bless her SOOOsoso much! :)

  33. Carolyn January 26, 2012 at 9:37 pm ·

OH, Elise…we did it opposite. My son is 17, then he’s followed by 3 girls: 15(almost 16) 13 and almost 11. My suggestion: follow Sara K.’s plan of endless supply of Grey Goose. It won’t solve anything but you won’t care…one way or another.

Barry gets peeved anytime anyone disagrees with anything he says. After all he was a VISITING lecturer at Columbia U., which is essentially someone with an opinion and no practical work experience, nor an official title. I’m guessing he had a Teleprompter and his god-echo machine with him then too, but I digress.

(Please delete my previous post. I had to fix my typo)

On the local news here in Arizona tonight they juxtaposed two pictures; Governor Jan Brewer shaking her finger in Obama’s face, and Representative Gabriel Giffords hugging Obama right before the State of the Union address, at which time she resigned from congress. The audience was asked to compare the two pictures. While I truly sympathize with Ms. Giffords and do wish her all the best, my first thought was “The difference is between a governor and somebody who’s been shot in the head”.

If anyone has shown a total disrespect for the office of the presidency is is Obama. He swore an oath to “defend and uphold the constitution of the United States”. I can’t see where he has done that at all. Can you? Please give specific examples. As far as state’s rights as delineated in the constitution, he has trampled all over them time and again, especially Arizona’s.

Mum of 4 girls…my advise is to keep the wine rack full ! Oh , and a great hair dresser on speed dial for those gray hair.

These are some of the responses I’ve been seeing to this picture.. people are ignorant…

“She wanted to see if he was goin to move her finger so she can lie and said he put his hand on her. She was being used by the devil and that why he didn’t respond but stood there and silently rebuke that devil and said satan get thee behind me you got to go. You foul unruly spirit. You are totally out of place ‘silently.’”

“Too bad he couldn’t slap her.”

“What the hell is her problem….Show the dam man some respect… Don’t get mad at him for the shape the country in…get mad at BUSH!!!!” (<– shows how much she knows, considering that's not what they were talking about.)

"how friggin disrespectful are these white racists getting makes no damn sense"

It's so difficult for me not to join their conversation. Can't waste that much time..Have work to do and taxes to pay.

you gotta check out Brewer’s FB page…her book sales went up (seriously) 3 mil% in 24hrs. hahahahaha, Obama might want to meet with her now, after he’s gotten over his teenage hissy fit…just sayin’

So, it’s Friday and after discussing how a bill becomes a law (yes, I used schoolhouse rock to kick off my lesson) my AP Gov class wanted to discuss this little run-in. Some hadn’t heard about it, so I went searching for the picture. The COTR pic came up on the first search and I nearly clicked it before I realized that I’d be revealing my alter-ego to the kiddies.

Good news that you’re on the first page, COTR! Scary for me, a little.
