This Pretty Much Says It All

These hippies have absolutely no idea what they’re protesting, so it makes perfect sense that they’d just “occupy everything.” You know, in case they were going to miss something.
There are tons of other great photos at the sourcelink, which pretty much prove that these jokers look exactly as you would expect them to – dirty, mostly unhire-able, and either shirtless or dreadlocked or naked or in union gear. There are exceptions, certainly, but the vast majority look like, well, hippies. And they’re all connected to their iphones or laptops or cell phones, while the irony that those gadgets were made by the evil corporations they are supposedly protesting completely escapes them.
Some great tweets are still flying about the protests. Here are a few of my recent faves:
And the one that really exemplifies the mindset of these morons:
Ah yes. I want a world where someone else is responsible for taking care of every single one of my needs, and they hug me and love me and I don’t have to do anything but show up at a protest. YAY AMERICA!!!!
GAWD.

I noticed the idiot holding the sign has a bandana over his face. Is that because he doesn’t want to show his face for this “Noble Cause” or is it to block out the smell of the crowd? Which brings me to the other sign, “we’re not fish”, yeah because I’m sure fish smell better.
I wonder how many resources these morons are taking away from the truly homeless and truly down-trodden in NYC.
LOVE Iowahawk!
My favorite pic? The one of the guy selling the protesting t-shirts for $20. OH, the delicious irony.
Reminds me of that ’90s movie PCU, where they were going around chanting, “We’re not gonna protest!”
Yeah, I loed the Greed Kills tshirts for $20 too. I think my favorite line from the link is this: “It’s time for the people to take back the freedoms we’ve lost to big business, all while staying connected with their Apple products.” Hahahahahahahahaha!
The link article kind of confused me, though. He seemed FOR the protest, but then you get about halfway down and his captions become sarcastic….
Good thing the coat was warm enough, the medicine did the job, the cuddle wasn’t “harrassment” and the coffee wasn’t too hot, or she would have sued.
I know that most of them have NO idea what they are protesting, but is there somewhere someone who actually says a reason? I’m really curious. Well, not curious enough to dig through articles about it or follow it, but I’d like someone to just tell me why it started, lol. Ok, never mind, I lost interest.
The madness comes to the Midwest!

I’m seriously considering planting myself directly in the route of the 4 people who show up with a sign that has W’s face enclosed in a heart. All the while I’ll shout, “I love working!” I’ll bet at least one of the compassionate liberals spits on me or yells something angry and nasty.
Organized on smart phones and i-pads via Twitter and facebook. All so they can SELL T-Shirts and CD’s. Gotta be an anti-corporate/capitalism thing, I can tell. I’m heading down there right away so I can pass out business cards to drum up some work. Oh wait I don’t have to work, the government I’m protesting against will take care of all my needs. I’m sure when this is over, they will all pick up their own trash and clean up the area, just like those racist, dangerous T.E.A. Party people do.
I’ve decided that I would like to have a pro-corporate America demonstration. You know because the entire reason that companies exist is to make a profit for their shareholders… but I’m sure that idea would be lost on all these people.
To add to this, I would like to share some of the favorite quotes from someone near and dear to my heart:
- someone who is unemployed said he was participating in the protest, in part, to ensure a more fair tax regime. When asked about his views on Wareen Buffett’s “Buffett Rule,” he replied “I really can’t comment because I haven’t hear of him.”
- Some people have suggested that occupy Wall Street is a mere form of street theater, that the protesters have a myriad of grievances with no particular agenda.
- While protesters generally didn’t talk much about politics, most leaned left.
- Someone flew in on Virgin America from LA and when asked if that represents corporations they are trying to fight, she insisted “No” referring to Richard Branson, “He’s working to create solar planes”
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that many of these protesters are recent college grads!!! The same immpressionable young people who were college students in 2008, and turned out in DROVES to vote for Obama, and Hope, and Change.
When I hear their rants, and read their signs, it just warms my heart!! I just want to say: Welcome to the real world sweet and sweaty graduates….where Mommy and Daddy don’t pay the bills anymore. And then I just want to pat them on their stinky, capitalism-hating, un-employable heads, and wish them TONS and TONS and TONS of good luck finding non-corporate jobs that will aford them Iphones, Ipads, a nice warm Snuggie, and a home to call their own–other than their parent’s basement.
P.S. Kiddos: All this protesting will be a GREAT addtion to your resume when you apply for that Community Organizer job!!!
Upon further review, these protests embarrass me.
At least when the protests in other parts of the world take place, even if it leads to burning cars and bombs, the protesters at least know WHY…..
The world is watching, and this is what they see.
Regarding the young lady who received medicine, a coat, a cuddle, and coffee, remember what Bill Whittle said (paraphrase): Tyranny won’t come in the form of tanks at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue; it will occur when we choose to give away our freedoms so that we may be treated like children.
Employed Okie: I have to agree!
Dan: Excellent observation!
Again, I love the tweets. Some either great ideas OR they’re good for a laugh.
Wasn;t there a Monty Python skit that was somewhat on these lines. If I remember right they were protesting or striking and when asked their demands had no idea what they wanted.
You ****ing people are Sheeps of the corporations and are complacent to the piont of defending the powers that will hold your children down!
Hey D Money – did you write that from your iphone, Droid or laptop? Just curious.
Anyone know of a Twitter dedicated to these ridiculous Tweets? They really make for a good laugh after working all day to support these morons!
