Next Up On Ethics Charges? Another Congressional Misfit.

I’m not going to lie. This story gave me the glees.
Efforts to “drain the swamp” have resulted in yet another House Democrat, the hideously incompetent Maxine Waters, facing a possible ethics trial this fall. Waters’ husband owns stock in and served on the board of a bank which sought federal aid, and apparently there is evidence to suggest that Maxine steered aid to that bank.
Between Maxine and Charlie Rangel, it’s looking to be a trial-tastic fall for members of the Congressional Black Caucus. And seeing as how the main Democratic platform and campaign motto this year is “Hey – things could be worse!” the last thing Democrats need right now is ethical conduct charges.
Am I surprised? Hardly. I’m just gleeful. It’s about time all of these clowns got what’s coming to them.

I could care less what letter the crook has behind the name…I want accountability and PROSECUTION for those that misuse the public trust. This plea deal crap is nothing more than C.Y.A.

Yep, in the old days it was the Socialist Party of America. There is a lot more history here as she transitioned but that is unimportant. She is a long time dyed-in-the-wool socialist and has never made any bones about it….like so many others that infiltrated the democrat party….and nobody has payed any attention to. Within Maxi’s circle, she is touted to have single handedly legislated more socialist transition than any other government “operative” to use their word.
Most everybody on here should be old enough to remember when the nation and the federal government followed the lead of California, believing they were on the cutting edge of progressivism, in the good sense. Well, most of that lead came from Maxi, in the areas of education reform, labour union enpowerment, minority entitlements, womens entitlements, etc. She was so good that becoming elected to the U.S. Congress was a cake walk and has remained so every since.
Inside government she has never intentionally drawn much public attention. She is a silent “trench” fighter who knows how to organize and garner massive support for her bills internally and externally, that she frames but, rarely ever carries her name as the principle drafter and sponsor.
Even if her current congressional corruption charges were to force her out of the congress Maxi will remain a reckoning force inside the revolutionary socialist movements.
RM is correct, and Maxine is a tool for bigger forces.
Anyone remember her slip of the tongue when she wanted to nationalize oil?
Hopefully this is the first step in getting this evil (not to mention stupid) socilaist out of congress!

Ace….You must be a youngin who has no knowledge of the long historical record of congressional democrats misbehaviors and criminal activities…who were never even investigated by the ethics committees.

What two congress persons were known to be drunken womenizers who had a long record of thinking it cutsie to fondle women and especially waitresses in public and on one occaision threw the waitress on the table, spred her legs and pretended to be …. her in a crowded popular congressional watering hole and restaurant?
On the GOP side, though, they’re not without record, have a very long ways to go to catch up with recorded democrat low life and criminal activities.
Ace: I must say true to liberal form you pull the “Look over there!” card to deflect. Perhaps Pelosi shouldn’t have run a campaign of ‘draining the swamp’.
BTW…I do believe you must be referring to Shaddegg. He isn’t running for re-election.
No, I’m referring to John Ensign. He’s the subject of a criminal investigation. He’s under scrutiny from the FBI. In a normal world, this would trump ethics investigations….
But my point is that the swamp still needs draining, no matter what letter is after their name.
