There are folks out there saying it was out of line for Obama to admonish McCain the way he did. And while I can certainly see that point, the bigger issue to me is that Obama is Actually Saying that they’re no longer campaigning.
WHAT IN THE HOLY HELL???
Obama never STOPPED campaigning. He’s like the campaigniest president of all time.
Unsolicited advice to Obama: When called out for not fulfilling campaign promises, it miiiiiight not be the best idea to reply with, “Well, we’re not campaigning anymore.” That basically just makes it sound like you’re totally not interested in fulfilling any campaign promises. Just fyi.
Obama lama ding dong isn’t going to fulfill many, if any, campaign promises,, except to the unions, Acorn, and others that put him in power. All he’s interested in is power. He also seems to be quite favored of islam considering all the political correctness that’s been running amok for a year, and the unwillingness to call a terrorist a terrorist.
I also think he’s a socialist because of his acts and policies the past year, taking over GM, bailouts of the banks and wall street, and now he’s gonna ram health care down our throats whether we want it or not, his appointments to his cabinet are either socialist or communist leaning or just radicals.
“We’re not campaigning anymore”… um… really?… because you seem to not have gotten the memo yourself then Mr.O.
I thought he was arrogant through the whole thing, and what he said over to McCain was over the top. I must say McCain handled it well.
I was particularly irritated… well, no… pissed off at this exchange. He did that – and many other statements made – so his favorite MSM fools could have a good sound bite to play all weekend! Rather than chastising McCain (which was probably what was in his mind), he came off looking arrogant, intolerant, and guilty because he was reminded of lies he told to get elected. I, too, think McCain handled that situation beautifully. IMO, Obama lost what little respect he had because he appeared arrogant and unyielding through that whole seven-hour yawner. Many times the TV cameras showed Obie sitting with his arms folded and his chin stuck in the air (doing his best Mussolini impression, no doubt).
