Shame on those race-card-playing conservative wackjobs. I mean, they’re causing confusion among the liberal elite. In the clip below, Rachel Maddow and her lemming du jour need help in understanding an ad put forth by conservatives to mock the fact that if they disagree with Obamacare, they’re all labeled as silly racists. I think it’s pretty self-explanatory – and it honestly doesn’t take an entire 8-minute segment to dissect, but I’m also not of the same intellectual capacity as someone like Maddow and friend, obviously. I mean, the last time I checked, they all thought I was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, so take this entry for what it’s worth, people.
For all you simpletons like me out there, I’ll break it down in Readers Digest for Dummies format –
Liberals are allowed to play the race card. Liberals are allowed to scream “racist!” at conservatives who are opposed to the healthcare bill, mainly because if we don’t agree with Obama on ANY issue, we are obviously racist. And, of course, liberals are the only ones who can determine what is offensive, as they’re the only ones who are allowed to get offended. If a conservative is offended, on the other hand, well, um, HUH? WHAAAA? Conservatives can’t be offended, silly! I mean, we’re all just a bunch of walking white stereotypes void of feelings and emotion and compassion. This is common knowledge in today’s MSM, right?
If one can’t understand the blatant mocking of the fact that race is even an issue at ALL in this monstrosity of a health bill, then one may need to take the giant “I’m a victim” plug out of one’s assular cavity. Especially if you’re spending a whole segment on your show dissecting it. I’m just sayin.
Here’s a newsflash to the ones offended by this ad. The bill sucks monkey poo. And, out of the 61% of people who oppose it, I would venture to say that not all 61% of them are racist a$$holes. They maaaaay just think it’s a fiscally irresponsible piece of crap. They may believe that it’s going to cost way more than what the Messiah has promised (because, let’s face it, the dude has broken just a wee bit of his campaign promises already in one short year). They may believe that their freedom is being stripped away, and this is a huge part of the beginning of that stripping process. They may just have an issue with government attempting to have more control over our health, our families’ health, and the ramifications that are consequential from such governmental control. They may believe in personal responsibility. In a free market. In LESS government. Hell, they MAY be actually satisfied with their current healthcare. You know – the one they work hard for to provide to their family, because they don’t see it as a right, but rather a privilege.
And all of this maaay just be what this ad is trying to point out. By being snarky. Hello.
According to Maddow and company, it’s pathetic that conservatives would use race in this way. It’s OBSCENE, I think was the exact word used in the dissection. Because, you know, Democrats NEVER pull the race card for their own gain. Ever.

Wow, she has too much airtime.
These complete and total narcissists can possibly think that they are wrong about anything so of course it must be racism!
MD is right, she has far too much airtime.
Um, I don’t see how you got any of that “only liberals can say what’s offensive, and conservatives aren’t allowed to be offended” stuff from this segment. All this talk of “liberals” playing the victim card — can you not see that this entire post (as well as the ad itself) is one shrill claim at your victimization by the MSM?
I mean, I for one don’t think the ad is offensive, just pretty freaking pointless. As the professor (and since when is being a professor at Princeton some sort of automatic indictment?) said, the ad treats racism as though it’s something that is inside individual’s brains, rather than a structure that exists within society. That’s what’s really wrong with the ad, from my elitist intellectual lemming’s point of view.
Oh, and about that 61%? Count me in — what could have once brought America up to speed with the rest of the civilized world has been reduced to a big ol’ Christmas present for the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, thanks to your people in the Senate. So I’m against it, not because I believe my “freedom” is being taken away by it, or any of that Glenn Beck claptrap. No, I’m against it because big business has won in Washington once again. Free market, my ass.
Glenn Beck claptrap. Love.
Big Business has won in Washington once again? How in the hell do you figure that? Do you like being employed? Up to speed with the rest of the world? Like as in socialism and communism? And if we are so not up to speed how in the hell is our health care not only more innovative but more accessible?!
We became our own country for a reason and the liberals are systematically dismantling it and making everything everyone has fought and died for since it’s inception pointless.
As to GB and his clap trap…I agree he can get over the top but some things he is absolutely correct about.
Oh and pointing out that the so called intellectuals act like children by playing the race card, not to mention complete narcissists, is not being a victim, but it is saying “Hey Stupid!” and is back door fascism to boot. One of the main things that has differentiated us from the rest of the world is a free and objective press, so we are losing that as well. Tribalism is morphing into yet another form.
BTW, health care is not now nor ever has been a right, but it is a commodity.
Only a FOOL thinks that more Gov. control does not affect their freedom…..
