I think we should institute a new policy…just shoot them on the battlefield. Take no prisoners.
One of the most egregious aspects of this decision is that Holder in effect prejudged the outcome of the trial. So, the defense will have a case for dismissal – both because of DOJ saying that there will be conviction, and because of the venue, i.e. “no fair trial is possible in New York City.” I am almost inclined to think this was done on purpose; otherwise I have to assume an utmost stupidity of Obama, Holder and Co. On second thought – there may not be a contradiction between the two, ideology often driving people to cretinous actions.
