In Case I Haven’t Been Completely Clear On This…

…the SEIU is pure evil, and its leader, Andy Stern, who is tops on the White House guest list, is the devil. You guys really ought to read Dave Bego’s book (which you can get at a discount – see the top right hand corner of our site). You really need to understand how dangerous the Employee Free Choice Act is, because it will affect businesses dramatically.

I have to admit, I’m kinda freaked out about the fact that this isn’t in the news more. Stern and Obama are like BFF, you guys. It’s creepy, because clearly Stern is kiiiiiind of a communist.

  • some good reading here about the EFCA….

    http://www.heritage.org/research/Labor/bg2027.cfm

question is, no where does it allow for employees to remove a union from the work place, which, is basically unfair.

  • Not to diminish this insanity at all, in fact, this is maybe the most disgusting thing I’ve seen as it relates to the goals and function of our economy.

But to ADD to that. How many of you saw or read that Ford’s UAW workers rejected the firm’s most recent contract changes in the face of third quarter profits. Ford is still about $27 BBBBillion in debt, but that doesn’t bother the folks at the UAW. They want to get theirs, even if it bankrupts the firm. I saw one moran on the national news last night saying that the firm shouldn’t be making the profits without the employees seeing better treatment. Yeah, keep the demands up, UAW. And be sure to call me last when you lose your job.

See the Detroit Free Press article: http://www.freep.com/article/20091103/BUSINESS01/911030371/1318/

Unions have lost their usefulness in America.

  • SICKENING. Do these morans have any freaking sense?

GOD, I hate unions. HATE HATE HATE.

  • Can a network PLEASE pick up on this story!!! Andy Stern made 22 visits to Obama since has been in the White House… What is the deal?! What will it take for someone to SERIOUSLY cover the EFCA????????

  • “…saying that the firm shouldn’t be making the profits without the employees seeing better treatment.”

yea, ok…i’m sure Ford management is walking around beating on employees to make them work harder all the time.

as a former auto worker myself, i can tell you first hand, we are the most spoiled of any workers. we’re well paid, our benefits are far superior than most others, and our working conditions are always the best.

crying that they’re being mistreated by management is just a game being played by the union. they do it all the time: find an insignificant reason to threaten a strike so as to hide the real reasons…which could be many, but mostly would benefit the leaders and not the workers.

    been there…done that.

  • Andy Stern and the SEIU are as about as communist as they come, and don’t forget that they are inextricably tied to ACORN.

I’m with Mock…HATE HATE HATE Unions!

  • Real media sites like MSNBC, CNN, and ABC don’t care about people like Stern visiting Obama more than twice a month since elected. They love Obama. They love anyone that loves him too.

Only fake and “talk-radio-ish” news organizations like Fox News and Chicks On The Right care about this stuff.

No real American’s care about this stuff. You’re all just crazy, and anti-American.

Gushing with frustration (and obviously sarcasm),

    -Jonathan

  • Antique media doesn’t care. If it were not for the Internet, talk radio, and Fox, we would know nothing. Never vote for a Democrat! The party is all about labor unions, trial lawyers and those who are obsessed about race.

  • MGA

You are a champion for speaking up. You are right it is not the rank and file. It is the greedy and ruthlees organizers and union officials who take advantage of their positions and the employees. I hope you will speak up more, especially to our Senators!

  • I’ve written in this forum about the night they turned out the lights and closed the doors forever at Eastern Airlines. But here tis, one more time: The unions partied all night long. The leaders uncorked champaigne bottles and gave speeches about what a great thing it was that the leadership and the rank and file won through solidarity. The next morning they all got in line for unemployment benefits and NONE of them ever even came close to making the level of pay they had left at EAL. And THAT folks will tell you that it is absolutely impossible to reason with them. Obama and Stern could give a rat’s rear end what they do to destroy this country’s economy. They don’t care and cannot be reasoned with.

  • Papa Kilo: Well said and on the money!

  • I find it ironic that unions think they deserve an ever increasing say in how people run their companies, and that union members think they deserve an increasing wage for making those companies successful. Yet CEO’s, and various businessmen, get vilified for thinking that they deserve a percentage of billion dollar deals and profits that THEY BRING IN!

What is amazing to me even more is people fall for the union crap and they join in the mobocracy and vilification of businessmen. the media is leading this country around by the nose.
