I’ve never watched the Rachael Ray show, because I heard her voice once, very briefly, on a commercial – and it sounded kind of like someone taking a knife and scraping it slowly across a cheese grater. So I’ve pretty much tried to avoid ever hearing that sound again.
But I enjoy Bill O’Reilly, and I absolutely love the way he breaks down the notion of our “right” to healthcare. Rachael, on the other hand, looks like she wants to punch him in the face, which kind of makes me giggle – especially when he basically ends up getting her to agree with him.
Rachael miiiiiight want to just stick with cooking.
I like Bill O’Reilly and find myself agreeing with him on a lot of things, but not this. Why? Because he chickened out on the issue.
What he isn’t saying, and no one is, is you have a right to smoke three packs a day. You have a right to over eat, speed, extreme sports, and any and all abusive life styles. That’s freedom. Take note, that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is defined by the individual.
What you don’t have a right to do is make others suffer or pay for the consequences of your decisions. Your rights end where my rights begin.
Not only is Rachel Ray’s voice sound like a knife scraping a cheese grater, but her recipes are terrible, but I give her kudos for making a success out of her life. Plus she loves dogs, and that always helps with me.
AWESOME!
I LOVE Rachel Ray. I know that’s not manly, but I do. I hate Bill O’Reilly. I don’t have a good reason why. I think it’s partially due to the fact that he comes off like he’s smarter than he really is (the right’s answer to Bill Maher, ugh).
But in this case, nicely done Bill. And Rachel, please do stick to cooking. I LOVE your recipes.
Love. Bill O’Reilly never gets my love but love now.
i hate how she invents words like stoup to describe a combination of stew and soup…. and evoo for extra virgin olive oil. and crap like that. anyway she should stick to that and holy crap i havent seen her in a few years and man she is gaining weight…. but that is off point
Jessy,
You’ve watched the cooking show. Of course, she’s gained weight. If you ate like that regularly you’d gain a little too.
I still thinks she’s great….with the cooking.
Personally I hate them both, (and I really hate that Bill and I graduated from the same school) but as much as it pains me to admit it, I actually agree with what he is saying here.
