…but I don’t think these numbers are heading in a direction that Obama would find favorable. And I’m not even good at reading charts. AT ALL.
According to this, 30% of the nation’s voters now strongly approve of the way that he’s managing his job as President, while 38% strongly disapprove. That translates to an approval index of -8, which is down six points.
But here’s the interesting part. 39% of Americans say Obama is doing “good” or “excellent” at handling the economy. Which begs the question – what sort of crack are those 39% smoking? With an economy that has basically screamed “Oh No You Didn’t'” at every single move Obama has made to save it, how does ANYONE see what’s happening and still think Obama is handling it AT ALL, let alone in a “good” or “excellent” way?
It must be some really really really good crack.

Not crack. Kool-Aid. And it was lobotomy-flavored.
i never understood polls. do they just ask a random sampling of people?
DJ: Depends on who is doing the poll. Some stack the deck like NY Times. that is why the devil is always in the details.
As to the crack…are you sure it isn’t crystal meth?
doesn’t it depend on where the polls are taken?
would not a solid blue state, for example, have different results than a solid red state?
also, would not the area the poll is taken also have a slanted outcome? i’m sure if the question was asked in the inner city versus the suburbs, for another example, the results would be different.
but, many other polls i have read also indicate obama is going down.
like the song says: “the thrill is gone….”
mga: Poll samples are generally taken across the country, not just in one area or state, unless it is the area or state the poll is specifically asking about. In other words you don’t need a national poll to run for mayor.
